Foundation for Scientific Understanding

The Foundation for Scientific Understanding has two different but complimentary missions. First of all, we are committed to helping simplify confusing scientific theories and answering questions. Secondly, we are committed to funding scientific research that may not be profitable but is of interest to the public- and by including a commenting period in which members of the public can propose research methodology.

The Foundation has the following objectives and plans:

a) Create content to clarify scientific concepts that are confusing to the general public;
b) Answer questions posed by the community;
c) Create curriculum and curriculum supplements for educational venues;
d) Identify and create other activities that encourage and expand scientific literacy;
e) Fund research programs with a commenting period in which members of the public can propose research methodology;
f) Sponsor grants and awards for research teams that support the missions of the foundation.
